We started getting out again now that Julie’s condition continued to stabilize…
Julie celebrated the week with several firsts. Overall, we had a great week.

Since last week’s update went out so late, this update has some repetition, but I’m going to keep it short.
This week was the first time Julie got her fingers in her mouth. She also rolled over on her side for the first time.

She had her first family outing to shop at a couple baby stores. She can make a claim as a true American having been to a Walmart for the first time. She also did very well at her first two restaurants tolerating a 45 minute wait.
She took an entire meal by bottle this week. She has been close before, but never to the entire 120 cc in less than 20 minutes.
Her oxygen levels were 94-95% as opposed to 91-92% last month. She is over 13 lbs. She is now wearing 6-12 month sized clothes.

Sarah read Julie her first book. She was very interested in it for quite a while. I’m including
four pictures with this update. Please continue to pray for Julie this week and thank God for the progress that she has made. We have doctor’s appointments every day for the next several work days – four for Julie, allergist for Sarah and the dentist for me (eeak!) Julie gets her Mickey button tomorrow. I’m behind on an assignment for seminary and things are stacking up at work. Did I mention how much I LOVE seeing the dentist?

Bottle feeding appears as Julie’s only remaining issue. She continues gaining strength and puff.
